When Amy SGT Brandon Korona was wounded in action, it changed his life forever. Although he made it back, his cramped split-level house no longer functioned as a home, but as a daily hindrance to his physical and mental well-being.
That’s why Wayfair teamed up with the organization Homes For Our Troops to get the Korona family into a home that functioned for him, and furnish it with decor that combined form with function.
Through the course of production, we worked with our design team to select a number of pieces that were ADA compliant and worked to make life easier for the family.
We then got to privilege to work with the family to not only tell his heroic story, but showcase a range of furniture that could be useful to the millions of people around the world with mobility impairments.
